Primitive Pear and Strawberrie Pin Keeps

For your consideration, I have made five new Primitive Pears and Strawberry Pin Keeps! They are each securely attached to little wooden bobbins that I have painted and antiqued. The Strawberry Pin Keeps are made from red brushed velvet, they have french knots for seeds and their leaves are made from green felted wool. The pears are also made from brushed velvet and have cross stich accents, topped with a wool felted leaf and a little stem. Two wonderful patterns from Woodland Primitives. Primitive Crows on Vintage Insulators

During one of my antiquing trips, I found these wonderful vintage porcelain insulators! The sweet lady I bought them from asked me what I would do with them....well, I think they would be perfect for a little black crow!! :) She just smiled, and wrapped them up for me!! I love to look for unique vintage goodies for my primitives. That is the fun in antiquing for me, finding a unique treasure! I have made three little crows and have securely attached them with a wooden dowel to the vintage insulators. I have needle sculpted their wings, and have added glass beads for their eyes. They have been painted and distressed with my special spice mixture. I have added just a small amount to the insulators too! They each measure just over 4 inches tall. Millie and Tuck Primitive Cats

I just love this set! Millie cat is made from muslin that has been heavily antiqued with my special spice mixture, I have gently sanded her. She has vintage homespun for here eyes and she wears a necklace made from a vintage cotton rug ball. Her sweet little whiskers are shaped from rusty wire. Her favorite little buddy "Tuck", sits close, they are quite the pair!! Tuck is also made from muslin that has been painted, sanded and rubbed with my special spice mixture. He has a bone button for one eye and a cross stitch where his other button should be. He wears a necklace made with three rusty little bells, that way, Millie always knows where little Tuck is!! Millie measures 13" high and 8" wide and Little Tuck is 9" x 5". This is a favorite pattern from Walnut Ridge Primitives. This sweet little set will ship for free in the United States. Folkart Birds

One of my all time favorite things to make are birds!! I just love them!! I have made three Primitive Folkart Birds from reproduction fabrics. They are firmly stuffed and gently antiqued. They have french knots for their eyes. I have securely attached them to a beeswax string, they will hang nicely. I added a little primitive tassle on the bottom. These birds are made from a pattern by Jackie Schmidt. Perfect little addition to your primitive home! They will ship for free in the United States.
